A Legacy of Serving Sandoval County Communities

Storehouse West began with a mission to combat poverty in the West Mesa region and the rural areas of Sandoval County. On March 19, 1992, a dedicated Board of Directors formalized Storehouse West as a non-profit corporation, committed to assisting residents of Rio Rancho and its surrounding communities.

In May of the same year, Storehouse West officially commenced its operations and proudly became a member of the Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce. Since its inception, the organization has received invaluable support from civic, religious, and service organizations, as well as compassionate residents and businesses in the area.

At Storehouse West, the primary goal is to provide essential non-perishable food items to those facing need. Thanks to our partnership with Road Runner, as well as the generous support of EFSP (Emergency Food and Shelter Program) and United Way, we can expand our offerings to include dairy products, meats, and other fresh foods, supplementing the canned and boxed-goods we distribute.
